The person who catches a screenshot of my 200,000th pageview will get a drawing from me, 1-2 characters, colored.
Only the 200,000th pageview counts, not one or two pageviews more or less. If more than one person catches it (dA is weird like that sometimes, lol), only the first person who sends me the screenshot in a note will get the award.
Unicorns and Fairies - Plans and Musings
So, I realized that I have a certain obsession with unicorns (which girl doesn't?), BUT I rarely (read: almost never) draw any!
So, my next awesome piece (lol) will probably feature a unicorn. And maybe a fairy. Cause I like long hair and wings.
I am also working on commissions (no worries, my commissioners!), only I take breaks from those so as to not rush them too much! ^^
As for unicorns, I usually imagine them to have a stature which is between a horse and a doe (not just a horse with a horn), what about you? What do you imagine them to be like?
I also do not always imagine them to be just white, in fact - just like horses - I prefer the idea of black unicorns. Though the one I will paint will probably be white, cause I prefer softer colors when painting, haha.
What are your thoughts?

there was a time when i really loved faeries but that was kind of a short fad for me. i still think they're cool too, though.
i think the white unicorn has kind of become a stereotype for them but i love white horses/unicorns either way because they are the most beautiful, in my opinion.
i don't associate wings with unicorns, but however you draw your unicorn i know it will turn out beautiful^^ i don't really see unicorn having doe-like qualities either, but i do imagine them to be a bit more graceful than unicorns. oh grr, i wish unicorns were real now! xD
You know, there are realists. And then there's my mom. XD
Anyway, I love Unicorns too! They're my favorite mystical creature, followed by dragons as a close second. I usually picture winged Unicorns myself (the main character in my story bonds with one), because flying is AWESOME.
I think they can be different colors too. In an earlier story I wrote (and never finished, lol) as a teenager, I wrote about a red one. ^^
