Well, this is my second design for the cover of my brand new laptop, since my hubby hated the first one. XD

I did always want a kinda old-looking cover, so this was a nice compromise.

The angel was drawn by hand using pencils (HB, 6B and 2 H), and the textures and text were added in Photoshop.

The text in the back is just random babbling of mine (you have to read every second line to actually get a text that makes sense, i.e. 1-3-5..., and 2-4-6...).

The bright text in the upper part of the image is a quote from Midsummer Night's Dream.

I now realize that the angel's head looks so huge with that hairstyle. XD The head looked okay while the hair wasn't yet there, now it just looks... big, lol. Still, I kinda like the overall look. (And yes, I know the title of the book is slanted. XD)

Oh, and I do have to say I was quite a bit inspired by Haibane Renmei while working on this. ^^
