Sunset and Petals

Happy belated birthday, *elila!!!

Eli-chan and I agreed on a romantic piccy of Haruka and Michiru for her birthday present. :3

However, thanks to all the drama in real life, I wasn't able to finish it in time. D:

Still - now it is here. I originally wanted to draw them kissing, but seeing how dA keeps removing yuri and yaoi kisses if the charas were established as underage, and this is supposed to be a present for Eli-chan, I decided to go with something mild, explicitly unexplicit, lol.

Dresses are based on the ones from the manga, though I simplified them quite a bit.

I just felt like saying that I love summer sunsets. I always have. There is something utterly romantic about them.

Also, totally unrelated, I kept listening to "I Follow Rivers" by Lykke Li while working on this. Ever since my husband told me about this song, I have been obsessed.
